Abstract

The school of Ash'ari in Islam is a doctrinal doctrine, Inthe fundamentals.  And Asharism is an old and great Islamic trend, attributed to many Muslims today, and most Muslims in many Muslim countries, they teach the doctrine of Asharism in schools, universities, mosques and Islamicinstitutes.

 This research deals with the Ash'ari school and its opponents on the historical side

            it does not deal with verbal articles to discuss, answer or judge

The research began with the definition of Abi al-Hassan al-Ash'ari and his followers and his conversion from the doctrine of Mu'tazila

            The research also included a discussion of the reasons for the spread of the school in the Islamic world

In the research, a statement of the positions of some of Ashari's opponents throughout history

At the end of the research, a statement of the conflict between the Ashari's and the Salafis in belonging to the doctrine of the Sunnis
