الملخص

This research aims at studying the concept of tasting according to Abdul Qahir Al Girjani and its relationship with the reader and the critic with regands to the conditions they should lsave. Al Girjani described the ways to develop the ability of tasting. the research followed the deascniptive methodology in the texts of his two books on the topic and achieved important results.

The tasting according to al-girjeni is a natural gift to be developed by knowledge and it’s an important measure for commenting and analyging the texts, tasting boetry depends maily on profound knowledge of eloquence which can be comprehensed by tasting and spiritual feeling. It cannot be reached through studying and learning if is only natural. To devetop the ability of tasting, AL-girjarni recommends that the reader should deal with numerous texts with a comperative sense to point out the place of beauty in the texts. Thns the reader should get interested takes part in the journey of looking for the secrets of beauty and enjoys tasting it on his own.
