Rumour is defined as a distorted tale or story which tries to mislead people about certain issues.

The rumour has a source and the source has certain interests and goals to fulfill in the rumours.

Some information is cutout and some are added to such a degree, that the reality is lost among the wave of lies and deceptions.

The parties of rumour attempt to lead people to believe in certain things, which are far from reality.

But rumours sometimes succeed in achieving the aims of their planners.
