أثر التعليم على اتجاهات المبحوثين نحو وضع المرأة في المجتمع : دراسة تطبيقية على المجتمع الحضري السعودي

Using social survey method, the study has focused on the effects of education on male urbanites' attitudes towards women's status in Saudi Arabia urban communities , as indicators of their future status in the whole society.

It is found that the level of education is positively related to respondents endorsement of the right of the young female not to be forced to marry against her consent, also the right of the wife to participate in taking crucial decisions concerning family affairs -without having right to oppose decisions taken individually by the husband-,the right of equal opportunity with males for higher education.

Moreover, it is found that most of male respondents opposed the employment of females regardless of the level of education.
