Abstract

Background

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a widespread autoimmune disease that primarily affects the joints, causing pain and disability, which can significantly impact both individuals and communities. It develops due to immune system dysfunction, with IL-6 playing a key role in its progression. Many RA patients also experience anemia, most commonly due to chronic disease or iron deficiency, further complicating their condition.
