الملخص
This study assessed the effectiveness of Pennisetum setaceum leaf powder, collected from Sudan, as a low-cost biosorbent for removing Pb(II), Cd(II), Ni(II), and Cr(III) from industrial wastewater. Biomass was oven-dried, ground into fine powder, and applied in batch adsorption experiments using wastewater obtained from a steel processing facility in Khartoum. Pre- and post-treatment metal concentrations were quantified using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. Adsorption tests were performed at constant pH and contact time while varying biosorbent dosage and initial metal concentrations
