Changes in the Purchasing Power of Money and Their Impact on Financial Settlement
الملخص
This study investigates the macroeconomic phenomenon of fluctuating monetary purchasing power and its legal implications for debt settlement and financial obligations, with a specific focus on Sudan's inflationary context. Integrating economic analysis with Islamic jurisprudence (Shari'ah), the paper examines how the volatility of modern fiat currency intersects with classical jurisprudential doctrines and prophetic traditions governing currency exchange (ṣarf).
