الملخص

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is associated with oxidative stress and genetic factors. Previous studies showed mixed results regarding glutathione S-transferase P1 (GSTP1) Ile105Val polymorphism and T2DM risk. This case-control study investigated the association between GSTP1 codon 105 (Ile to Val) polymorphism and T2DM susceptibility among Gezira State population, Sudan.
