Abstract

This study aimed to identify the planning and  management control programs in raising and improving the effectiveness of the administrative performance in the Public Authority for Water, to identify weaknesses in the field of planning and administrative control, and how to develop planning and administrative control, to provide appropriate recommendations and proposals to activate the process of planning and administrative control, and to suggest ways and means to remedy the deficiencies and support the positive aspects ,Based on the opinions of a sample of the Authority’s employees on this topic.

The problem of this  study is based on the question: "What is the role of planning and administrative control in raising and improving the effectiveness of evaluating the administrative performance to face the recent developments of the Public water Authority

Objectives of this study was based on this main question, and from it a set of sub-questions branch out in order for the study to achieve its goal.

 It used the descriptive approach  ,(100) questionnaires were distributed from the senior management and the executive management of the Public Authority for Water.

The study assumed two assumptions, which are that there is a statistically significant relationship between administrative planning and raising the efficiency of performance.

 Contributes to the rapid detection of errors and deviations and the control system in the authority Contributes to achieving performance efficiency by ensuring the optimal use of financial, human and material resources. The authority’s management has been implementing the work plans, and we find that there is a development, but it is a failure to meet the modern development.

The study recommended several recommendations, including the support and development of control methods and tools in accordance with the variables in the field of inspection and control, which contributes to achieving performance efficiency. It also recommended the use of advanced planning programs and the need to pay attention to the time of implementation of the plan and enlightening employees in Public Authority For Water needs to improve their performance and their ability in administrative performance as a means to develop drinking water services in the countryside in a sustainable manner.
