Abstract
Background
Pneumonia frequently represents the terminal illness leading to mortality in people with other serious, chronic diseases. About Each year, around 4 to 5 million people are diagnosed with pneumonia., and 55,000 of them die. In recent years, we've seen a worrying increase in respiratory diseases, including pneumonia. In November 2023, China’s National Health Commission reported a rise in cases of several diseases, including influenza, coronavirus, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae, a bacterial infection that affects children. Pneumonia kills more children than any other disease – more than AIDS, malaria and measles combined. More than two million children die from pneumonia each year.
