Abstract

Abstract

This study came under the title: "Presenting the direct object before the subject, a grammatical and semantic study", and it consisted of an introduction, then two axes: the first theoretical, the other applied, then the conclusion. As for the introduction, it defined the topic, its importance, the reasons for choosing it, and the method followed in it. This study followed the descriptive analytical method in order to reach the desired goals. As for the first axis, it was concerned with the theoretical aspect in which the terms of the study were defined linguistically and technically, such as: presentation, the subject and the object. Then it mentioned the places where the subject is presented before the object obligatorily, the places where the object is presented before the subject obligatorily, and the places where the object is presented before the subject optionally. As for the applied aspect, it included three models: the first from the Holy Quran, the second from the Prophetic Hadith, and the third from Arabic poetry. As for the conclusion, it included the most important results that it reached, the most important of which is that Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani criticized those who say that the direct object is in the middle for attention and care without clarifying the purpose of this attention and this Care is also considered the first to hasten interest and care by mentioning it as an example that shows a purpose and aspect of the purposes of care and attention, which is to hasten pleasure and joy, and from this example the study set out to achieve its goals as it made this example and model to be emulated, so that the study concluded because of it that presenting the object permissibly before the subject is in places of influence and multiple emotions such as: astonishment, praise, pride, lamentation, exhortation, fear, sadness, denial, mockery, sarcasm and other emotions and feelings that were shown by the different models presented by this study.
