Significance of English Phrasal Verbs for Non-native Speakers of English Language

Abstract

This research paper explores the significance of English phrasal verbs (EVPs) for non-native speakers of the English language. It aims to answer the question of why non-native speakers must learn and use phrasal verbs (PVs). To collect data for the study and achieve the article’s aim, the research adopts an analytical descriptive approach and uses scholarly sources written by academics, experts, and researchers on the challenges and strategies of learning and using PVs among the EFL/ESL learners.
