Abstract
The research examines the social structure of the Levant during the Crusades and the transformations that occurred in Levantine society as a result of their contact with the Crusaders, as well as the influence of the Islamic society on the Crusaders. It is historically certain that throughout the Crusades it was not a purely military conflict with the Muslims, but rather it was punctuated by a kind of peaceful coexistence between the two sides, which resulted in friendships and humane interactions, and extended to mutual marriages between the two sides. The research also examines the position of the Christians of the Levant in the conflict between the Muslims and the Crusaders. The research highlights social values and characteristics such as chivalry, courage, manifestations of entertainment, celebrations, and hunting trips. The research gives special importance to women in the Islamic and Crusader societies as a key element in both societies, and the research also shows some of the mutual influences between the two sides.
