Abstract

This study aims to edit and analyze the manuscript entitled “A Concise Introduction to Tajweed” by the reciter Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Habbal (may Allah have mercy on him). The manuscript is preserved in the Library of the Grand Mosque in Mecca (Manuscripts Section, No. 412). Its significance lies in being a concise instructional text that presents the essential rules of Tajweed in a simplified manner supported by Qur’anic examples
