Investigating problems facing Secondary School teachers in implementing NCS in their Classes
Abstract
This study aims at investigating problems facing Sudanese Secondary School Teachers in implementing the national curriculum statements in their classes. A questionnaire has been adopted as primary tool for collecting the data of the study. The sample of the questionnaire is consisted of (70) English language teachers. The researcher applied a chi-square test to analyze and verify the hypotheses. The results of the questionnaire showed that teachers' lack of training, techniques, passive style of teaching and lack of economic, political and social support make teachers unable to implement the national curriculum inside the classroom.
