The study aimed to detect learning difficulties, hyperactivity and attention deficit among first-cycle students in primary schools in East Gezira locality from the point of view of their teachers. The researchers followed the descriptive survey approach. The sample size was (180) male and female teachers, who were chosen intentionally. The study tools were the learning difficulties scale prepared by Al-Saratawi (1995) and the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder scale (prepared by Al-Khatib (D.T.). After analyzing the data using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, the study reached the following results: The degree of learning difficulties among first-cycle students, as perceived by teachers in primary schools in East Gezira locality, is high. The general characteristic of hyperactivity and attention deficit among first-cycle students, as perceived by teachers in primary schools in East Gezira locality, is low. There are statistically significant differences in the degrees of learning difficulties among first-cycle students, as perceived by teachers in primary schools in East Gezira locality, attributed to the gender variable in favor of males. There are statistically significant differences in the degrees of hyperactivity and attention deficit among first-cycle students, as perceived by teachers in primary schools in East Gezira locality. Teachers in primary schools in East Al-Jazeera locality attributed to the gender variable in favor of males. At the conclusion of the study, the researchers presented a set of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which is the researchers’ recommendation of the necessity of building a treatment program to alleviate learning difficulties among students.
