التعريف الإجرائي للتنمية المحلية

Abstract

Thisresearch aims at investigating the impacts of programsand projects of local development witch implemented by InternationalFund for Agricultural development programs (IFAD) in the period (2002 - 2008) ,in addition to identify the factors that led to realized the sustainable development, the fundamental hypothesis of the study is formulated based on the projects and programs that implemented by(IFAD) contributes to improve the socio-economic status in the field of study ,The study has applied the analytical descriptive methodology,This study has been applied on Bara local villages where, four villages were selected out of twelve villages: Azhaf,Umdabbos,Mushga andUmGazera, And then the researcher has selected 200 as totalsamples for each villages, The researcher has used a questionnaire which composed of direct questions, interviews ,with local based committees(group – Discussion)  and with experience staff of IFAD ,The researcher has applied the statistical packages for social science (SPSS) to analyze field data. The research has arrived at several findings: the most important is that the local development projects and programs, have contributed to improve the socio- economic status for the people in the field study.

The researcher has recommended that the applied of local development program should generalize in different parts of the Sudan,  and should be gives the priority for  social dimensions, as well as the government must supported for this kind of development.
