Abstract
This study was conducted in three localities of Al-Dinder, Abu Hajjar, Al-Dali and Al-Mazmoum, Sennar State, to study the effect of climate changes on the sorghum crop. This study aims to identify the concept of climate changes, identify the elements of climate, identify the causes of climate changes, measure the extent of farmers' knowledge of climate changes and know the impact of climate changes on the corn crop. * The data was analyzed statistically using the SPSS statistical analysis program, which showed that the degree of Temperature does not affect planting dates, life cycle and crop structure, crop production and crop quality, as there is a clear effect of the amount of rain and its impact on planting dates, life cycle and crop structure, crop production and crop quality, and that the fluctuation of rain affects planting dates, production and crop quality. Also, the beginning and end of the rainy season affects the planting dates, and the production and quality of the crop. The study reached recommendations addressed to the various governmental institutions, civil organizations and administrations, and the community. The most important of these recommendations is the development of drought-resistant varieties with good quality specifications, the establishment of a meteorological station in the study area, the introduction of scientific methods Modern agriculture in the study area, strengthening and expanding platforms, infrastructures and tools to prevent emergencies a related to sorghum caused by climate change.
