Abstract
Abstract:
The role of the teacher is one of the most honorable and influential in shaping individuals and societies, as it involves the transmission of knowledge and the reinforcement of ethical values. Given the significance of this profession, this study explores the values derived from the Prophetic tradition (Sunnah) that teachers should embody, highlighting the educational principles conveyed through the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who serves as the ultimate role model in all aspects of life, including education and upbringing. The study aims to elucidate how these values can be applied to enhance education and cultivate well-guided generations capable of addressing contemporary challenges. The research employs an inductive methodology to extract and analyze educational values from Prophetic texts, alongside a comparative approach to assess these values against the current state of education, identifying gaps and challenges. The findings reveal that adherence to Prophetic values significantly improves teachers' performance and strengthens their role in achieving educational objectives. The study recommends intensifying teacher training programs based on Prophetic ethical values to support the educational and pedagogical process effectively
