Abstract:

This study aims to explain and highlight the Islamic endowment, its concept, reality and types, throughout Islamic history. It also aims to shed light on the most important endowment concepts launched by the four imams through their jurisprudential books and how the Islamic society has cared throughout its bright history for Islamic endowments. As for the study methodology, the researcher used the applied inductive approach and its most prominent results: that caring for Islamic endowments is one of the basic pillars on which Islamic civilization was built in ancient times and has not ceased to be and has become the focus of attention in the modern era due to its societal, cultural, health, economic and other developmental functions.
